Introduction
The increasingly faster pace of time – with its increasing demands and interactions, ever more complex projects and innovations, but also, unfortunately, with its persistent resistance and conflicts – can alienate managers in their work in a time that should be their own.
The aim of the seminar
This seminar proposes to focus on the issue of time in order to reconcile its many different phases – the time in the present, the time for development and the time for long-term vision – in order to help you work more creatively and effectively.
Content
Based on inspirational figures drawn from the great repertory works, this method consists of identifying, reflecting on and articulating these three fundamental dimensions of time at the core of your activity:
- Taking the initiative to make a real start
The Powers of Promise/”Judith” by Marc-Antoine Charpentier
- Settling disputes and staying the course
The Metamorphoses of narrative/”The Merchant of Venice” by William Shakespeare
- Bringing a story to an end to open up more possibilities
Strength of forgiveness/”Ariadne auf Naxos” by Richard Strauss
A final session, followed by an evening at the opera, will bring this amazing journey to a close in the autumn of 2024. An experience to be lived and shared! (Opera and date to be confirmed).
Target audiences
This “Campus” programme seminar is open to all members of the Group Management Meeting and to participants in “Perspective” and “Trajectoire”.
Seminar materials
The materials are provided by the trainer at the end of the training programme.
