Risking yourself

Introduction

The aim of the seminar

This seminar invites participants to detect the kinks in the system, to be open to a developing reality and to seize unexpected opportunities… to finally come out of the shadows and discover themselves through their decision-making.

Content

Queen Esther is a young orphan, a woman from a people in exile, who hides her name in order to find a place in a Persian empire dominated by strict laws and lavish banquets.

Nonetheless, a series of coincidences place her in a position to be able to save her people from an order to exterminate them that threatens their very existence. However, this is not without risk, as, in order to save them, she must disobey the rules of the palace such as the one forbidding anyone to approach the king without being sent for. Responding to a profound call of life, Esther approaches the king, reveals her identify and begs for mercy for her people.

And, against all expectations, the king is touched by Esther’s gracefulness and agrees to her request, not without some difficulties, however. Life has passed; the event has happened. Esther invites us to open up to the fertility of each moment of life.

Seminar participants are invited to partake in this wonderful journey into the heart of Handel’s Esther to comprehend the joy that can be had when you risk yourself.
