IMB: off to Canada!
From September 29 to October 2, 2025, eight IMB participants will immerse themselves in the…
Have you heard of the JAG? Better known as the Group Welcome Day, the JAG gives newly-hired managers a special opportunity to learn about the Group’s values, challenges and activities in the presence of its senior management.
On June 12, 2025, 156 new employees (34% international) from fifteen countries*, and representing the Bouygues Group’s six business lines, took part in the Group Welcome Day organized at Bouygues Group headquarters in Paris.
For this year’s event, guests were offered the added bonus of attending the Viva Technology 2025 international trade fair, dedicated entirely to tech! The day before, 37 employees had the chance to take part in an exclusive Learning Expedition, immersing them in the world of innovation within the Group.
This event, aimed at “department heads and above” who have recently joined the Group (less than a year ago), is an integral part of the Group’s onboarding program deployed by the business units.
A complementary digital induction program
Onboarding is also reflected in the ambitious production and availability of an in-house video series (“What brings us together”) accessible to all, all year round, in six languages, by automatically connecting to the platform (recognition of professional e-mail address):

Feel free to make use of this series, rich in images shot all over the world , which perfectly illustrate what underpins the Group, its culture, its management principles and its activities. A film on the four values will soon complete the series.
The JAG concept in a nutshell
Joining Bouygues is first and foremost a human adventure. An adventure rich in discoveries and opportunities. “Affirming and clarifying our culture, reminding us of our fundamentals and what makes Bouygues what it is”: that’s how to describe the main theme of the Group Welcome Day, which provides new recruits with a solid reference point.
The Bouygues Group is presented in all its diversity, its values and principles are described, as are its key figures. Ultimately, the JAG is a tool designed to help strengthen the employee’s sense of belonging to the Bouygues group.

In practical terms, this annual event takes the form of :
An informative plenary session:
Group strategy and challenges, presented by senior management ;
strategy and challenges of each of the Bouygues group’s six business lines, by their respective managers.
This year, the Group presented in detail its four values: respect, commitment, pioneering spirit and transmission , which can be found at (pictured alone, Olivier Roussat, Group CEO).
As a media presence, the Group called on Anne-Chloé Bottet (pictured in yellow alongside Marie-Luce Godinot and Edward Bouygues), journalist for the LCI news channel (TF1 Group) and, from September 202, presenter of the 11am-12pm Saturday edition and of the “Bonjour!” morning news every Friday on TF1, to host this plenary session with talent!

Interactive Q&Asessions with general management and business leaders.
Throughout the morning, participants ask their questions on their smartphones via Pigeonhole Live or Klaxoon, anonymously or not. They can also choose to simply vote for a question.
A Bouygues SA employee poses the questions to the various executives in French or English. In her selection, she takes care to represent the audience’s main areas of interest within the allotted time.
Informal, convivial and gastronomic (!) sharing
Déjeuner avec les participants
The organizers set up a total of twenty tables, each with a Group or business leader, or an HR professional.
Organized by the Bouygues Group’s parent company in conjunction with the business line HR departments, the event completes the integration program offered by the business line. Guests are designated by the business HR departments.
The language issue
As part of the Group’s internationalization, oral presentations were given in either French or English, with a dual screen allowing the presentation (slideshow) to be followed in the language of choice (French and English).
Simultaneous translation (French to English) was available to English speakers at all times, and the same rule applied to questions asked in French.
Participant testimonials
According to the anonymous satisfaction survey carried out after the event, participants appreciated the “quality of the presentations”, the “precision of the interventions” and the many “direct exchanges with the management teams”:
“I’ll always remember it as a group in which the most senior managers take the time to welcome newcomers”.
“Ethics in our activities is a must; a Group with a long-term vision and businesses that meet essential needs”.
“Several entities but a single Group united by values”.
These words validate the Group’s intention behind this high point of integration into the Group: “to be grateful to those who have joined us, and to offer the best conditions for building together “, as Jean-Manuel Soussan recently summed up on LinkedIn.
The overall rating for the event reflects the level of satisfaction highlighted in the survey, with an overall score of 3.82 out of 4!
Their impressions of the recruitment experience
Meeting our new recruits also gives us the opportunity to get a first-hand feel for their state of mind.
This year, they were asked about the quality of their recruitment experience within the Bouygues Group
